BLEU NUIT

POST PUNK - NEW WAVE - COLD WAVE

The dense and thorny sound of Bleu Nuit has the vital quality of sublimating the codes from the 80s to concoct undeniably modern songs - zigzagging between noise punk and coldwave hymns. On their debut LP ‘Le Jardin des mémoires’, the band balances Yan Skene’s mystic, whispered melodies with a shimmering propulsion. Nicolas Gaudreault’s winding, sharp guitar searches for a light amongst the vaporous, hazy synths. Released with Michel Records, Requiem pour un Twister (EU) and Born Yesterday (US), that first LP gets the band to make a breakthrough in french-speaking countries.
Last November, Bleu Nuit released a new album, Metal, under the french label October Tone.

Bleu Nuit is composed of Yan Skene (guitar, synth, lead voice), Nicolas Gaudreault (guitar, synth), Maxime Sans-Chagrin (bass guitar) and Marc-Antoine Sévégny (drums).
