Shoegaze / Dream-Pop
Active since 2024, the band offers up its slacker rock like a perpetual wave machine. With shoegaze and dream pop influences reminiscent of Duster, Homeshake, and Cindy Lee, the five Rouen natives are preparing their first release in 2025, filtered through impossible dream machines. Cheesy synths, soggy memories, and bleached Polaroids will pave the way.
Mud-Pop
After releasing his second album, Dehors, in 2023, appearances at the Trans Musicales festival in
Rennes and on KEXP confirmed the graceful identity of "a corrosive sound that has hypnotized more than a few listeners. "
His name is Sarakiniko. It is both the name of a beach with a lunar silhouette on the island of Milos and the Greek word
for buckwheat, an emblematic plant of Brittany, where he comes from.
Sarakiniko is a man who writes, composes, and records music that comes to him from his dreams and
his aesthetic vision of a magnificent world in disuse.
Jazz / Pop
French-American musician Melissa Weikart is driven by a spirit of experimentation and crafts hybrid music with a high degree of sensitivity. She is part of an intimate avant-pop movement, marked by her classical piano training, her love of jazz (a graduate of the New England Conservatory in Boston), and her passion for folk music.
WIZZ 2025 laureate (Woman in Jazz initiative supported by Les Gémeaux and the Jazz sous les pommiers Festival on the initiative of Anne Paceo), winner of the instrumentalist prize at the Concours National de Jazz à la Défense, Melissa released Easy in January 2025 and will release a new album in October 2026.
Close to figures such as Thomas de Pourquery, Flore Benguigui, and Laurent Bardainne, Melissa Weikart now asserts a more pop-oriented stance in a captivating cinematic and theatrical atmosphere.
Hard Bounce / EBM / Post Punk / Rave
Driven by rave vibes, the intensity of hard bounce, the depth of trance, and the mesmerizing acidity of acid, his universe is dedicated to one goal: creating a sensory and auditory journey where every sound becomes an emotion.
Through his sets, Staary seeks to convey a raw, vibrant, almost cathartic energy that circulates, is shared, and transforms the dance floor into a space for collective experiences.
