ADA ODA

Rock canzone

Radiant and drastic in their compositions, Ada Oda associates a solar punk energy with uprising melodies of which only the Italian popular songs have the secret.

A raw and frantic singing, sometimes close to the spoken word, Victoria Barrato unfolds with the typical Italian flow an exhilarating freedom, sensitive and accessible even for those who don’t speak or understand Casanova’s tongue.

With the help of stripped demos, César describes his impressions of love and the people around him. His texts were first translated into Italian and then adapted by Victoria, the daughter of a Sicilian immigrant. On stage and in the studio, the duo is accompanied by Clément Marion on the bass (David Numwami, Judith Kiddo), Alex De Bueuger (Alaska Gold Rush, Gros Cœur), and Aurélien Gainetdinoff (San Malo, Yolande Bashing) on the guitar.

After a first tour of Belgian clubs where Ada Oda opened for bands like Wet Leg or The Cool Green House and due to the success of their first single “Niente Da Offrire”, the band is going on an extensive European tour (Italian tour, MaMA Festival, Ouest Park, Crossroads Festival, FiftyLab, Dour, Francofolies, Europa Vox, Rock en Seine...)

The band released its first album, “Un Amore Debole”, at the end of 2022 on 62 TV.

Ada Oda is selected for le Chantier des Francos 2023.
